        1. Acceptance of Terms

        By accessing and using the TeachSA learning platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

        1. Definitions
        • “User” refers to any person accessing the Platform, including students, parents, and educators
        • “Content” includes all video lessons, study materials, quizzes, tests, and other educational resources
        • “Account” means your personal registration on the Platform
        • “Services” refers to all features and functionalities provided by teachSA
        1. Account Registration

        3.1 Eligibility

        • Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
        • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
        • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

        3.2 Account Responsibility

        • Each account is for individual use only
        • Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited
        • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
        1. Packages and Pricing

        4.1 Available Packages

        • Starter Package: R200 per subject
        • Complete Package: R600 for comprehensive coverage
        • Exam Preparation Package: R800 per subject
        • Extra Support: R80 per group lesson, R150 per private lesson

        4.2 Payment Terms

        • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR)
        • Payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed
        • We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and approved payment methods
        • Payment confirmation may take 24-48 hours to process

        4.3 Refund Policy

        • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
        • Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis
        • No refunds will be issued after 30 days from purchase date
        • Access to materials already downloaded or viewed may affect refund eligibility
        1. Use of Platform and Content

        5.1 License Grant

        • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform
        • All content remains the intellectual property of teachSA
        • You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content

        5.2 Prohibited Activities

        You agree NOT to:

        • Share, sell, or redistribute any content from the Platform
        • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
        • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
        • Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code
        • Impersonate any person or entity
        • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
        • Use automated systems to access the Platform without permission

        5.3 User Content

        • You retain ownership of any content you submit (assignments, responses, etc.)
        • By submitting content, you grant teachSA a license to use it for educational purposes
        • You are responsible for ensuring your submitted content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
        1. Intellectual Property Rights

        6.1 teachSA Property

        • All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Platform are owned by TeachSA or licensed to us
        • You may not use our intellectual property without written permission

        6.2 Copyright Protection

        • All video lessons, study materials, and resources are protected by copyright
        • Unauthorized reproduction or distribution may result in legal action

        7.1 Data Collection

        • We collect and process personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy
        • We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
        • Your data is stored securely and used only for educational purposes

        7.2 Student Data

        • We take special care to protect student information
        • Parents/guardians have the right to access their child’s data
        • We do not sell or share student data with third parties for marketing purposes
        1. Service Availability

        8.1 Platform Access

        • We strive to maintain 24/7 availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
        • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
        • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

        8.2 Content Updates

        • We regularly update and improve our educational content
        • Some features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
        • We reserve the right to discontinue any aspect of the service
        1. Cancellation and Termination

        9.1 User Cancellation

        • You may cancel your subscription at any time
        • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email
        • Access will continue until the end of the paid period
        • No partial refunds for unused time

        9.2 TeachSA Termination Rights

        We may suspend or terminate your account if:

        • You violate these Terms and Conditions
        • You engage in fraudulent activity
        • You abuse or misuse the Platform
        • Payment obligations are not met
        1. Limitation of Liability

        10.1 Educational Results

        • TeachSA provides educational resources but cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes
        • Success depends on individual effort, circumstances, and other factors
        • We are not responsible for exam results or academic performance

        10.2 Technical Issues

        • We are not liable for any damages resulting from: 
          • Service interruptions or technical failures
          • Loss of data or content
          • Unauthorized access to your account
          • Third-party actions beyond our control

        10.3 Maximum Liability

        • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim
        1. Indemnification

        You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeachSA, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

        • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
        • Your misuse of the Platform
        • Your violation of any third-party rights
        1. Academic Integrity

        12.1 Proper Use

        • Our resources are designed to support learning, not replace it
        • Students must complete their own work and assessments
        • Using our materials to cheat or plagiarize is strictly prohibited

        12.2 Consequences

        • Violation of academic integrity policies may result in account termination
        • We reserve the right to report academic misconduct to relevant institutions

        • The Platform may contain links to third-party websites
        • We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites
        • Use of third-party services is at your own risk

        • No other agreements or representations apply unless in writing
